The RMA Stone Splitter is a discrete transistor two part single octave down effects unit in the latter stages of refinement (any testimonial herein is based on user experience with the prototype). Differentiating the Stone Splitter from other analog octave dividers is the high/low pass crossover stage each with independent discrete transistor bistable multivibrator (flip-flop) with wave shaping circuitry to round off or sharpen resultant square/rectangle waves.
As evidenced in block diagram, each stage then feeds a separate dry mix control. The output of each section is independent, though the inner output jack is normalled to the outer output jack to provide the full spectrum on a single output when only one output cable is inserted into the outer jack.
Additionally, localized feedback modes for unpredictable behavior are on target for inclusion. Expected availability in early 2019.
